Association “Euni Partners”, Blagoevgrad, together with Mrs. Ani Andonova – staff specialist “Youth Activity”, at the Regional Office of the Bulgarian Red Cross – Blagoevgrad, participated in the 3-day event in Hungary, devoted to the exchange of good practices in the field of volunteering service. The event was part of the ERAS “European Alliance for Volunteer Supports – learnings from Covid-19 crisis.”
During the event, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of different organizations and municipal structures that support people from vulnerable groups. The activities included meetings and seminars with volunteers, each presenting their volunteering activities, and an exposition showing what volunteering organizations were doing during Covid -19, and many others. The aim of the project is to identify the challenges and difficulties that volunteering organizations face in their everyday work and to find solutions for that by proposing measures and actions that local institutions can foster in order to support these organizations.
