ERAS II project is a continuation of a partnership established in 2021 with ERAS – European Alliance for Volunteer Support project. It addresses the impact of Covid-19 on voluntarism, support to voluntarism by local authorities for a better crisis response, and improving conditions for the development of voluntarism in partner countries and across Europe.
With this project the consortium aims to reflect on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on community life and on forms of civic participation during the crisis. To observe this, we will focus on active citizenship and civic participation through the act of volunteering.
An online platform will be developed and it will serve as a space for presentation of participating towns and organisations and offer a search platform for further cooperation to spread benefits, opportunities, and importance of volunteer programs.
