The main goal of EUROPEAN ALLIANCE FOR VOLUNTEER SUPPORT – ERAS project is a long-term
partnership of thirteen towns from thirteen different countries with the common objective to improve conditions for the development of voluntarism in partner countries and across Europe. In order to achieve that partners will share information, practices, knowledge, and expertise.
The consortium aiming at presenting how volunteer programs can be a great entry point towards active European citizenship for groups of people who are less active or even excluded from society. And by showing that volunteer programs provide great results and very clearly express the impacts of active citizenship encourage European people to work and live by voluntary values. Additionally, the project will show how sustainable and well-supported volunteer programs can positively address social and economic issues.
