  • SMELT

    SMELT

The SMELT project: Skilling Marginalized people to Enter Labour Market, is aiming to face the paradox of business sectors experiencing workforce shortage and the high number of vulnerable  people unemployed, by  supporting marginalized people in acquiring and developing key competences strategical for the labor market.

Marginalisation, is often due to a lack of adequate education and/or specific technical skills, which contribute to cut off those people from the labor market and, as a consequence, exacerbates their social isolation and marginalisation, which in turn, further hinders their access to the labor market.  This vicious cycle perpetuates inequality, marginalization, poverty and isolation.

Combining expertise and experiences of association/ngos working with marginalized people, enterprises, VET centers and educational institute proceeding from 7 countries, the project is expecting to promote the access to VET and low-skilled professions (in the specific the welder one) through organizing specific training courses.

The training courses will be shaped for this specific target group mixing/merging technical workshops to learn the welder profession and classes to increase digital skills and soft skill to facilitate people’s access into the labour market and, more in general, into social tissue. Specific courses will be carried out to explain how to create a CV, where to send it, how to find job offers and to reach the job center. The idea at the basis is to foster their inclusion and participation in the society.

The project is funded by Erasmus+ Programme, KA2: Strategic Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training.

  • REscEU – What would life be without EU?

REscEU – What would life be without EU?

REscEU was born with a clear goal in mind. To allow young Europeans to learn more about the role the European Union plays in our daily life, but not through the traditional teaching methods, but thanks to a compelling escape room experience.

From that initial idea, the partnership applied and won funding from the Europe for Citizens programme, making the escape room experience possible.

    •   Will you be able to escape the room and save the EU?

    What is happening

All 11 Partner organisations are working to create the best European escape room experience. We are analysing what are the major advantages of the European Union and how to transform them in compelling and entertaining activities for the escape room.

    •   We are all pro-European organisations, working together for REscEU

RescEU is a European project made possible thanks to the cooperation of 11 European organisations. Every organisation is slightly different in the ways it works and people it affects, but we all share a common vision: We work towards a stronger and more united Europe.

Thanks to RescEU, we want to transmit our vision to the people. The escape rooms will be Europe-themed and will allow participants to gather and challenge their knowledge towards the goals of the escape room experience.

We strongly believe that a game can make a difference in the European context, helping participants to better understand the EU’s functions and consequences in our daily life.
