On April 12, 2017 four of our volunteers made a presentation on in front of 25 students from South-West University “Neofit Rilski”, majors “Culture and Media” and “Culture and cultural tourism”. Patrycja Bizoń, Zlatka Petríková, Serdar Neçirvan Avci, Yusuf Ekin talked about the principles on which is based EVS; what could be the duration of the program; what costs are covered by the program; what are the benefits, challenges, responsibilities and obligations of a volunteer.
Serdar and Yusuf who are our short-term volunteers from Turkey, answered the question “Why choosing Turkey for my EVS?”. Zlatka and Patrycja who are our long-term volunteers talked about their personal experiences as current volunteers and why it is worth it to go as a volunteer in Poland and Slovakia.
