From the 23rd to the 25th of May 2022 Association Euni Partners participated in the 3rd Transnational Partners Meeting within the project IN NEET, which encourages young people to build a better Europe. Our partner, the Municipality of Athienou, has hosted the event and has been held in the Athienou Municipal Hall, in Athienou, Cyprus.
During the first day of the meeting, all of the partners were first introduced to the current state of the project. The meetings served also as an opportunity for sharing and exchanging good practices. The host of the meeting, the Municipality of Athienou, presented the developed voluntarism in the town as a tool for building a better aware and participatory society. In the following days, the main activities were focused on open debates about the influence of territorial context in the NEET phenomenon and young social exclusion, and what kind of policy-making processes we would implement at the EU, regional and local levels. The project part of the meetings concluded with exchanging of ideas and experiences about regional, urban and rural development initiatives of the European Union and making distinctions depending on the target territory considered.
