The Mayor of Tetovo, Ms. Teuta Arifi, welcomed guests from around Europe and Macedonia to the fourth meeting of European Network of Women Mayors for Equal Opportunities in Citizens’ Life (POWER) programme, held from 3-5 February 2016.
During the POWER event in Tetovo, local craftsmen and women cooks introduce traditional food and handmade rugs, carpets, clothes and jewellery to international participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, Spain and Italy.
Power project ended as a wonderful success in Tetovo. Municipality of Tetovo is the only member of POWER that is not part of the European Union. Municipality of Tetovo will continue to be a part of programmes like POWER, in order to promote and share best practices with municipalities of the region and beyond.
