Training of Trainers in the framework of the project “Inequalities Matter”

Starting from 22.04.2024, Association “Euni Partners” hosted a three-day Training of Trainers in the framework of the project “Inequalities Matter”, funded by the CERV Programme of the EU. The event gathered representatives of public authorities and NGOs from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Germany, Italy, France and Portugal working in the field of social inclusion and environmental citizenship promotion.

Trainers from Alda gave insights on participatory democracy and practices of citizens` engagement. The programme for the Training of Trainers included theory and key parameters of participatory democracy, environmental citizenship and sharing citizens engagement practices.

Association “Euni Partners” and the Regional administration of Blagoevgrad presented the Regional Council on Integration Policies as a good practice bringing together NGOs and institutions in the process of integration of marginalized people. The agenda of the Session included a presentation about the role of NGOs in the development of Integration Policies. The day finished in Melnik with a demonstration of good practice for sustainable wine production.

The training event concluded with discussions, knowledge exchange and a visit to the Regional focus point for Development of the Social Economy of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, where Mrs. Temenuzhka Zlatanova presented a project implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy in Bulgaria. Each organization shared good practices, challenges they encountered in their work experience and presented projects that they work on and promote.
