Association Euni Partners organised a meeting on September 29 with the Community of Practices, as part of the EPIC-UP project, to develop a Transfer and Adaptation plan based on the good practices presented during the visit to Poland.
The meeting was held with members of the Community of Practices to discuss and develop an action plan that would meet the specific needs on a local level and ensure long-term effectiveness and applicability.
The members of the Community of Practices shared valuable recommendations based on their expertise on the legal framework, the involvement of local authorities, ensuring sustainability through social enterprises, and the actions to be taken in relation to the implementation of good practices. The meeting marked the beginning of the development of the pilot initiative, which aims to serve as a basis for larger-scale implementation in the future.
The pilot initiative envisages the organisation of intercultural events and volunteer initiatives. The participation of young people – pupils and students – will be encouraged by involving them in trainings and joint activities. GDPR-compliant data will also be collected for the analysis of results to continuously improve the activities.
The aim is to build a sustainable mechanism for creating a safe and accessible space with an intercultural focus. The sustainability of the initiative will be ensured through the establishment of partnerships, the digitisation of services, community involvement, and adaptability to changing needs.
Expected results include the creation of an effective support mechanism that can be used by both local residents, migrants, refugees and vulnerable groups of society. Communication and cooperation between all participants in the social inclusion process will be improved. The initiative will encourage the building of a cohesive community through joint activities, cultural events and volunteer initiatives.
The meeting marked an important step towards the creation of a sustainable and effective mechanism for social inclusion, adapted to the specific needs of the local context. The partnership established between local institutions lays the foundation for long-term change, guided by a shared vision and responsibility. In the next stages, the project will focus on the implementation, monitoring, and upgrading of the proposed solutions in order to achieve a lasting impact and create a more cohesive, informed, and inclusive society.
