Fourth International Meeting within the project IN NEET

From 26th to the 28th of September 2022 Association Euni Partners took part in the 4th International Meeting within the project IN NEET. The main aims of the project are to build channels and social spaces in order to reintegrate NEETs into society, especially those who are long-term unemployed. Our partner, Asociatia se poate- Romania , hosted the event in Bucharest, Romania.

During this event, the current situation of the project was presented by the Lead Partner- Municipality of Alimos, Greece. A job shadowing with experts was organized about the relation between school, unemployment and NEETS, where the influence of formal, non-formal and informal education on NEET phenomenon were discussed. Also, the participants visited Fundatia Parada – an organization, dedicated to supporting persons with fewer opportunities in Bucharest.

Furthermore, innovative educational spaces were discussed, such as co-working spaces, which give opportunity to artists, designers, architects, etc. to meet each other, to work together, share ideas. Afterwards the participatns were acquainted with a social entreprise  – a coffee shop where youth with Down syndrome work and socialize to build their path for independent living.
