From 28 to 30 October 2025, Association Euni Partners, together with a representative of the Blagoevgrad Regional Administration (associated partner), took part in the Steering Committee Meeting for the EPIC-UP project, which was held in Oberhausen, Germany. The event was hosted by the Municipality of Oberhausen and the non-governmental organisation Kitev, which welcomed the project partners.
The purpose of the meeting was for each partner to present their pilot project and share the progress achieved, as well as to actively participate in the exchange of good practices.
The meeting began with an official welcome by the non-governmental organisation “Kitev”. After the opening, the project coordinator presented the current status and progress of “EPIC-UP”, as well as the goals achieved. The program continued with a presentation of “Kitev” initiatives and a visit to their iconic tower.
The second day was devoted to working sessions and sharing experiences. During the first session, each partner presented their pilot project – the ideas and practices borrowed from the mentor partner, as well as how these practices can be applied at the local level. This was followed by a discussion of the results achieved and the challenges encountered in the exchange of good practices.
