On 11th December 2019 Association “Еuni Partners” presented the project “AAS@school for social inclusion” at the Regional Development Council. A methodology for working with children and adults with communication disorders was developed through the project. Through that, trainers, teachers and family members can help people with communication disorders to learn how to cope independently at school, in everyday and in life situations.
The project has been selected as a good practice at European level and the Association “Euni Partners” has been awarded for the sustainable cooperation between the non-governmental sector and regional institutions in the field of education. The project was implemented jointly with the “Regional Education Management”- Blagoevgrad and the “Regional Centre for Supporting the Process of Inclusive Education” – Blagoevgrad.
The President of the Association – Ilina Yakova emphasized in her presentation the need to improve the education of children and adults with special educational needs and the benefits of the implementation and integration of the AAC methodology in the educational system.
Association “Euni Partners” presented the good practice to the European Parliament and the European Commission on the 4th and 5th of December 2019, enabling it to be applied in a wider European context.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the “Erasmus+” Program of the European Union, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships in School Education.
