Association Euni Partners conducted series of workshops, within the project Lifelong Learning, using Dance Therapy and Expressive Methods. The activities were conducted, in the period between August – November 2019 and targeted 2 groups – adult educators, trainers, and staff who work in the different social field, and young people with fewer opportunities.
Through these workshops, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with and experience different methods for promoting identification and expression of their emotions using their body, promoting self-awareness, empowerment, developing self-esteem, and rebuilding the concept of themselves. Moreover, being active participants in the activities people gain a subconscious education of trust, teamwork, their own place within a group, the standard of discipline needed to succeed, and the rewards of succeeding as an individual and as a team.
The 7 workshops developed for the purpose of the project help adult educators to develop their competence in work with people with special needs using dance-based therapy.
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2: Strategic Partnership for adult education.
